Here is Burgant’s privacy statement. It describes how your personal data is handled that is collected.

Personal data is collected by Burgant for a number of purposes. These are explained below.
- Sending out newsletters
Burgant sends newsletters via e-mail. These newsletters are both commercial and knowledge-sharing oriented. You may be asked verbally or textually to subscribe.
- Contact
Your data will be collected if you contact Burgant via the website, by phone, app, chat. You will then be asked for only the information necessary to provide a proposal/quote and/or a service, such as your first last name, company name, email address, phone number.
- Execution of an agreement
When you place an order we ask for the following information to create an invoice and send an invoice: First last name, company name, street, zip code, city, email address, phone number.

The data received and processed by Burgant are managed through:
- Mailchimp
The newsletters are sent using Mailchimp. The moment you subscribe to the newsletter, your e-mail address and first and last name are automatically stored in the appropriate list within Mailchimp.
- Hostingxs
Burgant’s email/website and backups are hosted at Hostingxs. If you contact us through the forms or by email, those emails are stored on Hostingxs servers. Data you leave on Burgant’s website is stored on Hostingxs’ servers.
- Google Analytics
The data collected by Analytics on the website is anonymous, i.e. not connected to your name, company or email address. This data is stored indefinitely within Google Analytics.
- Storage period
Your data will be kept by Burgant for a longer period of time, but never longer than is necessary for the performance of the agreement and/or activity, unless we are required to keep your data longer by law.
- Sending out newsletters
Your email address and first name will be stored in Mailchimp. The storage of your data is indefinite. You can unsubscribe whenever you want via the link at the bottom of the newsletters or by sending an email to info@burgant.com.
- Contact
The moment you contact Burgant via email, the data you send, such as your name, company name, and email address, will be used,
stored on VDX’s mail server, Hostingxs. These mails are kept according to the legal retention periods.
3. Google Analytics
The data collected by Analytics on the website is anonymous, i.e. not connected to your name, company or email address. This data is stored indefinitely within Google Analytics.
- Security
No physical copies of your personal data will be made unless we are required to do so by law. A physical copy of your data will be made when specifically requested, such as a hard copy quote/invoice.
Your data is managed only in the aforementioned systems and software.
The personal data managed by Burgant or by previously mentioned third parties is only accessible through the above software and is password protected and where possible with two-step verification.
In this two-step verification, a code is generated from the software and sent to Burgant. This code should be used during the login process.
The devices that access your data are each locked with a password and/or fingerprint. The number of devices that can access your data is limited to only the necessary devices In addition, your visit to our website is protected by an SSL certificate. This means that your connection to the Burgant website is private. You can recognize this security by the green lock in front of the url.
Burgant stores your data in a secure database. And there they remain. We do not give your information to third parties, unless we are legally required to do so.

- Right of inspection
You have the right to request at any time your information that is recorded and kept by Burgant. You can do this by sending an e-mail or contacting Burgant by telephone. You will then receive an overview of your data.
- Right of rectification
Is your data not correct? Or has your data changed? You have the right to have this rectified by Burgant. You can change your data concerning the newsletter via the url provided at the bottom of each mail.
- Right to be forgotten
If you want to remove the data stored by Burgant, please let us know and we will remove the data, of course, within the legal possibilities we have. In short, we will not remove data that we are legally obliged to keep.

Burgant processes personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest, namely a commercial interest. Think of offering services or products of Burgant via e-mail.
